Sacramento?

Here we are in Sacramento, we arrived on Monday morning (July 9th) after an extremely hot night in a.... dare I say.... Walmart parking lot! Eek! Not our best laid plan- We left Portland and drove for 8-9 hours and decided we did not want to drive into Sacramento and set up camp in the dark, so we would just boon-dock it somewhere on the road. Well boon-docking is great.... unless it's 100 degrees out. The camper was so hot we were almost ill, and definitely did not sleep well. We woke up and drove into Sacramento in the morning, where we stayed in an RV park on the River-it was very cute and not at all city like. We spent all day today driving around checking out RV parks, most of which were sketchy as  hell-yuck! The Rv Park we picked is names Sacramento Shade Park, and it is the cream-of-the-crop, as RV parks go in Sac. The pool was wonderful today, as again it was over 100, and the fact there are fruit trees throughout the grounds is a huge selling point for the kids (and us too).

We scoped out the Nathan's future Hospital-Sutter Regional, it is big, and that is about all we know. Nathan has orientation on Thursday and starts next Monday. The vacation is over!! at least for 8 weeks anyways. Pictures to follow soon....
