Thankful

We are getting ready for Thanksgiving which this year we will spend with friends, both new and old. We are getting together with Kort and Kai on Wednesday before they head to Las Vegas for Kai's Birthday celebration and then Thanksgiving day we will get together with the Barnett's our lovely new friends from good old SoDak- nothing like traveling thousands of miles to find yourself back home.

Nathan has resigned with the same company and will stay at the same hospital for the next 3 months, which we are all thankful for. We have grown to love it here and think we would like to return every year.
Homeschooling has been good, we enrolled Piper in CAVA which is an online school and so I still teach her but she has another teacher we check in with and can help guide her and myself. Scout is still Scout and everyday is an adventure in teaching him. We are thankful for help.
The last couple weeks we haven't been as busy as we usually are, and I really appreciate the down time. We actually spent the whole weekend around the park last weekend-crazy! We rearranged the rig which is always fun and feels good to deep clean and reorganize. We are thankful for relaxation time.
Before that we spent a day in LA and went to the LACMA- (LA County Museum of Art) and was that ever fun. Piper loved it from beginning to end, Scout was a trooper and loved the beginning but toward the 4th hour or so was about over it. Piper took about 200 pics with her I-pod. We made it through one of 5 buildings, so return trips are a must! We are thankful for the arts.
We had dinner with the Barnett's and the park lost power which we thought would last about 15 min but ended up lasting 24hours, plus had no water on top of it-roughing it. We are thankful for water and power.
At the beginning of November we went with Kortney and Kai to their friends Emily and Craig's family avocado farm in the hills outside Temecula. It was a ton of fun and was wonderful to meet our new friends Emily and Craig. We are thankful for our friends.
I haven't posted in a month and am sure we have done other things which I can't remember right now, but I am thankful for having this experience and all the people that love and support us along the way. I am very thankful for my children who take everything in stride, they amaze me all the time. And lastly I am so thankful that I have such a wonderful, supportive, hard working and most of all loving- husband that doesn't think I am crazy for wanting to live like gypsies and even found a way to do it.
We are Thankful.
